As if the state taxing us more for our gasoline, Natrona County wants to continue their pork barrel projects by continuing the 1% Sales Tax. And these politicians will claim all of your hard earned tax money goes for great causes. Really? The simple truth is by adding the 1% sales tax just frees up an equal amount of money in the general fund so the politicians can spend even more of your money. Think about this for a moment, how did Natrona County survive before this tax? The citizens did just fine!
Unbelievable! Yet another demonstration of a total lack of leadership and moral compass.
“Rep. Harshman should have scolded all involved for participating in a skit, that if performed by students, would have been cause for suspension or expulsion; as well as not being good stewards with the taxpayers’ money. -As this took place in the tax payer funded NCHS gymnasium, and all faculty was being paid to attend this meeting-.”
$18,000 plus per student per year, and this is what we get. Proof positive that money doesn’t make students smarter, nor teachers and faculty!
Editor’s Note: The concerns Geert Wilders expresses in his speech touches similar issues we face in America. Besides the Islamic threat, he shows the systemic problem of the political elites not listening to their people and not honoring their historical past that millions of their countrymen have bled and died for. Ask yourself, have you witnessed any of Mr. Wilders’ warning here in America?
Speech at the Four Seasons, New York
September 25, 2008
Thank you very much for inviting me. Great to be at the Four Seasons. I come from a country that has one season only: a rainy season that starts January 1st and ends December 31st. When we have three sunny days in a row, the government declares a national emergency. So Four Seasons, that’s new to me.
It’s great to be in New York. When I see the skyscrapers and office buildings, I think of what Ayn Rand said: “The sky over New York and the will of man made visible.” Of course. Without the Dutch you would have been nowhere, still figuring out how to buy this island from the Indians. But we are glad we did it for you. And, frankly, you did a far better job than we possibly could have done.
I wonder how many readers know that Matt Mead committed Wyoming to accepting Refugees. When several of our legislators were asked what they knew of Mead’s request for refugees, they said they knew nothing about it. So, if our law makers knew nothing about it, and you were not aware of it, where does Matt Mead come off telling the Obama administration that “the state of Wyoming has elected…”? See Mead’s letter below:
