Dear Patriots,
As you may know, Wyoming’s state health officer, Dr. Alexia Harrist recently issued a stay-at-home mandate for residents in Teton county. Hearing edicts like this make you wonder what country you are living in.
Those of us who respect our U.S. Constitution and believe in defending citizens’ rights of self-responsibility – to go to work or stay at home, to wear a face mask or to walk outdoors in fresh air, to gather in worship or practice social distancing – realize that if we stay silent and allow this kind of government overreach, we may lose our cherished freedoms forever.
This Thursday, April 9, 2020, I invite you to stand for freedom and self-governance. Please join me and others at Pioneer Park located directly across the street from the Natrona County Courthouse, 200 N. Center Street at noon, 12:00 p.m. Feel free to bring a placard or protest sign to share your love for liberty.
Draconian measures such as those seen in China and throughout the world reveal the stark difference of a totalitarian regime versus a constitutional republic. Unfortunately, many state governments throughout the U.S. are using fear and panic to trample on our constitutionally protected rights and denying citizens of our country the means to provide for their family.
America was founded upon personal responsibility and self-governance. We rely on honest science, honest data, and hard facts. We do not rely on media-driven hysteria and conflicting reports. We take the Wuhan virus health information into serious consideration but ultimately, each individual has a God-given right to exercise what is best for themselves and their family.
Yes, the Chinese virus is real. And so is influenza, and so was the Swine flu. Rather than an all or nothing approach, let Wyoming citizens exercise a common sense approach of what works best for each individual. If you want to isolate, then isolate. If you want to use social distancing, then distance yourself. If you want to work, then go to work.
It all boils down to this: What is the proper role of government in a crisis situation? Do you believe that we should exercise personal responsibility for protecting the health of ourselves and our families, or do you trust that the government knows best?
If you do believe in our constitutionally protected, God-given rights of self-governance, please join us in a respectful manner on:

The hypocrisy of the authoritarian rule we are seeing throughout our nation is astounding…
– Government allowing “essential” services such as curbside alcohol sales but shutting down church services that government does not deem as “essential” but “criminal”
– Politicians making medical edicts, with governors restricting physicians’ prescription decisions of medications that are proving to save lives and prevent virus infections
It is time to open our eyes and see what is happening to our country. Statists are taking every advantage of this crisis (as one statist said, “One must never let a crisis go to waste”) but if we are to hold on to the last remnants of liberty in America, we must stand strong, together, now.
A one-size-fits-all, herd mentality, is not the American way. Nor are authoritarian edicts.
As Benjamin Franklin said, “Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.” Please join me:
