VOTE YES ON PROPOSITION ONE 2026

The current tax assessments are based on biased determinations.

The “Lincoln Institute of Land Policy” tracks these programs. Amounts and rules reset every year.

PROPOSITION ONE gives Wyoming landowners ethical standards by which they can continue to live where they have chosen and are not bankrupted by ridiculous taxes they can’t afford to pay.

 (PROPOSITION ONE in full context)

If PROPOSITION ONE is passed, as it should be, people will still be paying taxes on their properties in Wyoming.

State of Wyoming Legislature 2025: In fiscal year 2025, Wyoming’s General Fund and Budget Reserve Account revenues exceeded the January 2025 CREG forecast by $71.9 million.

State of Wyoming Legislature 2024: In fiscal year 2024, Wyoming’s General Fund and Budget Reserve Account revenues exceeded the January 2024 forecast by about $122 million.

Excess Revenue Collected in Wyoming in 2023: In fiscal year 2023, Wyoming’s General Fund and Budget Reserve Account revenues exceeded projections by about $177.3 million.

I predict if the Wyoming Legislature has any budget-minded personnel on-board, the budget could be well taken care of even if the citizens of Wyoming were treated fairly considering property taxes.

THERE IS NO TRUE POLITICAL REASON NOT TO VOTE YES FOR PROPOSITION ONE 2026.
