As part of almost $4 million in grants, the second funding request in Wyoming was received in a ‘$2.25 million Managed Data Center Cost Reduction grant’ for the company expansion of Green House Data, the very same company that Sam Galeotos is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

This enabled Green House Data to expand outside of Wyoming, and do so on the backs of Wyoming taxpayers.

Green House Data now operates 3 locations in Washington state, 1 in Oregon, 1 in Texas, 1 in Colorado, 1 in New York, and 1 in Georgia; and I bet you, the taxpayer, thought this corporate welfare money was only going to help Wyoming.

We were told what ideal conditions Wyoming had for data centers. Of course it was really never about location, Wyoming was an ideal place to easily apply and receive ‘grant’ venture capital for a startup.
