Background Music for Clint Eastwood

Background Music for Clint Eastwood

Below is the video of the orchestra that made the music for the Good, Bad, and Ugly.

“I hope you find this interesting as to how they created the background music for Clint Eastwood’s – “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly” film. This was done 54 years ago and there was a female orchestra conductor – which was highly unusual at that time. Enjoy…..

54 years ago when tough guy Clint Eastwood was a mere 36 he starred in the spaghetti western classic, “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly!”

Some may remember the film and are enveloped by the story…..while others reflect on the theme song for that motion picture…..which was indeed a cut above the rest! (Composer Ennio Morricone passed away July 6, 2020 at the age of 92 .) For those who might enjoy seeing how that theme was performed, this is your lucky day!

Continually amazed by the genius of Morricone. The intermingling of the instruments and voices is beyond innovative. I’ve watched full blown symphonic orchestras complete with chior perform this. It’s actually the one that I’ve seen on this video. Yet the recorded version somehow sounds different, just so outstanding. I have this on the thumb drive in my truck. My wife loves this too and she’ll locate that music on the drive and it’s VOLUME UP!
    Thanks for the nice break!!
