Casper Rally Friday, April 24

Casper Rally Friday, April 24

Dear Wyoming Patriot,

Weeks ago, Wyoming’s state health officer, Dr. Alexia Harrist issued a statewide public health order in response to the Chinese Wuhan virus, forbidding gatherings of ten people or more and closing non-essential businesses throughout the state.

In addition, Governor Gordon has refused to lift the current “orders”.

Even worse, several of Casper’s city council members have publicly expressed interest in “detaining” people that are not “appropriately quarantining” themselves.

Those of us who respect our U.S. Constitution and believe in defending citizens’ rights of self-responsibility – to go to work or stay at home, to wear a face mask or to walk outdoors in fresh air, to gather in worship or practice social distancing – realize that if we stay silent and allow this kind of government overreach, we may lose our cherished freedoms forever.

I would like to invite you to join me for a Rally to Reopen Wyoming at noon on Friday, April 24, 2020 at Pioneer Park. This rally to employ our Constitutionally protected right to peaceably assemble will take place across the street from our county courthouse.

Rally Details:

Date: Friday, April 24, 2020
Time: Noon, 12:00 p.m.
Location; Pioneer Park, across the street from Natrona County Courthouse, 200 N. Center Street
Note: Feel free to bring a sign or placard defending liberty

Not only are the current orders from Governor Gordon unconstitutional, but they are harmful to our state and to our nation. The Chinese Wuhan virus situation will not be remedied by an either/or solution. We can keep both our jobs and our health!

The facts are on the side of common sense with targeted quarantine of high-risk categories of individuals. If you are high-risk, please stay home and we will represent you while we rally for the choice to work.

Let’s encourage our Governor to fully open Wyoming’s economy.

Please feel free to invite and share this email with your friends who cherish their God-given Constitutionally protected rights of free speech, peaceable assembly and the right to work!

Wyoming State Constitution Declaration of Rights

Sec. 7. No absolute, arbitrary power. Absolute, arbitrary power over the lives, liberty and property of freemen exists nowhere in the republic, not even in the largest majority.

Sec. 21. Right of petition and peaceable assembly. The right of petition, and of the people peaceably to assemble to consult for the common good, and to make known their opinions, shall never be denied or abridged.

I look forward to seeing you Friday, April 24, 2020 in Casper, noon, 12:00 p.m. at Pioneer Park. Let’s Rally to Reopen Wyoming now!

For Liberty,

Cathy Ide
