Could A Genuine Conservative Vote for Democrat Throne?

by Mike Pyatt

Before my Conservative friends call for my lynching, hear me out before you conclude the cheese has slipped off my cracker.

One can likely hear Rex Rammell screeching in the background, “What about me?” The Rock Springs Constitutionalist veterinarian has a valid argument. Despite his pugnacious style, his stance on Wyoming controlling federal lands, and unshakeable pro-life position, is attractive to many liberty minded voters. Before switching to the Constitutional Party, he alleged that the Republican Party was planning to undermine its own nominee, Mark Gordon. State GOP Party chairman was quoted by the CST, “I don’t have any knowledge of it,” he said. “The Party is going to stand by the primary winners. Period.” In a recent interview with Glen Woods on KGAB radio, Rammell explained his rationale for switching to the Constitutional Party, and maintains that he could launch a strong run against Gordon. If the election was based on swagger, he’d be a shoo-in. Many conservative like his ideas, but are leery of his “bull-in-a-China shop” style. read more

Friess vs Hageman: Revealing Exchange About LIBERTY

Friess vs Hageman: another revealing exchange about LIBERTY from the Evanston debate August 11

Foster doesn’t understand the Supreme Court ruling in Masterpiece. According to him, all has been “pretty well….resolved”, so why don’t we all get together to talk about this “non-issue” over another cup of coffee. But he’s wrong, it has not been resolved. These cases will keep coming. The Colorado Civil Rights Commission went after Jack Phillips again, just this week.

Harriet says we are ALL equal before the law, no matter our views on sexuality or religion, and no law should create special rights for any group. read more

Which Bathroom Will the New Governor Use

Every day, we receive a Foster Friess flier. Today, with endorsements from veterans, all no doubt warrior patriots and good men. Tomorrow, there will probably be another one in this flood of endorsements from national figures. But what do any of these people know about Wyoming?

It’s great that Foster knows lots of people outside our state.

Does any of this matter to us in Wyoming? No, it does not.

Read below to see what really matters.

Last Saturday, a debate took place in Evanston. A friend called me, in shock at what Foster said. Yesterday, I finally obtained the transcript, which you see below. read more

Gubernatorial Endorsement

Just yesterday morning I announced my endorsement in the GOP gubernatorial primary and as a conservative here in Wyoming, I wanted to personally send YOU a copy of it.

I believe that Wyoming is at a crossroads.

As our our economy cooled off, state spending is only heating up — leaving conservatives in Cheyenne to wonder, just who is going to pay for it all.

While we’ve recently made progress in the Second Amendment, our outgoing Governor vetoed a major gun bill in 2017 and wouldn’t even sign my Stand-Your-Ground legislation this year. read more

Wyoming Governor’s Race – Foster Friess

Wyoming Governor’s Race – an objective look at the main candidates.

This article is third of four, my attempt to look at each of the main candidates as objectively as I can. As I said in the first email, my wife and I are dedicated supporters of Harriet Hageman. Our personal regard for her does not enter into our evaluation of her opponents’ candidacies or hers. We look at record and policy, leaving out personal feelings.

After looking fairly, we conclude that there is no choice other than Harriet. read more
